Mr. Alphonse Semugaza is an academic turned entrepreneur. Alphonse has, in a relatively short period, made significant achievements as a businessman. Mr. Semugaza is the founder and CEO of several companies among them the very successful Alpha Media that is involved in advertising, printing and supplies.
Gerald Mpyisi returned to Rwanda in 1995. He worked for the government as the ICT Director in the Ministry of Defence until 2000 when his entrepreneurship spirit saw him leave the public sector to go into business. In the last 12 years he has been involved in several enterprises in ICT, transport and capacity building.
John Wilkins has worked in radio across 2 continents and four countries during the past 25 years and has built a reputation as one of the leading radio programming gurus in Africa.
He launched Kenya’s first commercial radio station ‘Capital FM’ in 1996 which was consistently rated number 1 and only beaten by his second Kenyan radio station, ‘KISS 100’. KISS was market leader for 6 years.
John trained & coached some of Kenya’s top radio presenters including Zain Verjee (now at CNN), Caroline Mutoko, Nyambane, Olivia Otieno, Kajairo, Maina Kageni, Didge, Ciku & Munene Nyagah.
